The explosive duo formed by Johnny Depp and director Tim Burton have announced they will share talent and efforts of the secure-success-Dark Shadows, an adaptation of the legendary television series the 60′s.
This strip was a success for the period, 1,225 episodes were filmed, all issued by the ABC Television Network from 1966 to 1971.
Depp is in his element as it will play another dark character, in this case the bloodsucker Barnabas Collins, an old vampire that lives in a centenary archaic Collinwood mansion with a medley of fantastic characters: werewolves, witches, ghosts, zombies etc.
Johnny Depp has told the press that this role is passionate, it’s like a dream come true and that since Young was a fan of the series and was enthralled with Barnabas Collins.
