With almost a year in post-production on his back came this week the first teaser trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire, the live action adaptation of the famous animated short feature film by Mamoru Oshii, creator of Ghost In The Shell.
The film was shot in China and Argentina at the beginning of last year and tells the story of Saya, the last vampire “thoroughbred” who works for the government hunting demonic creatures.
The Directorate of French Chris Nahon, head of The Empire of the Wolves and South Korean actress Gianna Jun-famous for the dramatic comedy “My Sassy Girl was in the lead role of Saya.
For now only available the following release dates: May 28 in Japan, June 12 in the UK and 17 in France. Although I do not think that takes much longer to reveal dates for other countries.
