The Hollywood star, who turns 40 in August, showed for quite a while his extraordinary abilities as a filmmaker, as well as to consider it’s much better director than it is as an actor.
In 1993, he directed the short “I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her on Meat Hook, and Now I Have A Three Picture Deal at Disney. ” Then in 1998, won the Academy Award for writing “Good Will Hunting” and the prize he shared with Matt Damon. Gone Baby Gone (2007) and The Town (2010), were his last film, showing that he is someone to be taken into account within the new generation of directors.
Now, it appears that California already has in mind his next project, which would be “American bullshit, ” a screenplay written by Eric Warren Singer, and which tells the story of the Abscam operation, the same that led the FBI uncover a tidal wave of political corruption.
In addition to this new rumor, Affleck also plans to lead the project of “The Trade” and “Replay”, two productions from Warner Bros.
