After the last film in the series of animated Dreamworks ‘Shrek’, many thought it would be the last time you knew the adventures of ogre and his fellow adventurers, but some time we’ve been hearing talk of a spin-off starring one of the most endearing characters in the series: Puss in Boots.

Antonio Banderas will give voice to Puss in Boots, while Salma Hayek will do the same with a new character, the companion of adventures of the Cat, Kitty. Also stand out among the rest of the cast names Billy Bob Thornton and Zach Galifianakis (‘The Hangover’, ‘Hangover 2′).

On the plot of the movie, just know it will focus on finding the mythical goose that lays the golden eggs by the Cat and company, much along the lines of  ’Shrek’ to modernize old tales and mythical objects. What can they do in Dreamworks with the goose that lays the golden eggs and Puss in Boots together? We will have to wait several months to know, but in the meantime, here I leave the trailer.
