footloose remake posterHollywood decided to start out of the vault the 1980s, titles such as Karate Kid, The A-Team, and Fright Night are some of the movies that are being renovated, and Footloose is no exception.

The mythical Footloose will be renovated while retaining the essence, the new trailer for the new Footloose has been released, was directed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) and co-written by Dean Pitchford, both have been reworked to ensure the success of the new generation of films 80.

One thing Brewer and Pitchford have left unchanged the basic premise of the original 1998 film Footloose and musical stage adaptation: A big city boy has to deal with some major cultural shocks when moving to a small town in the south (in this case, dummy) – where dancing has been outlawed due to a terrible accident some years ago.

However, instead of a Bacon 26 years of age, the role of teenager Ren MacCormack dancer, actor-dancer is Kenny Wormald (You Got Served), such as break-dance dancer from Chicago. Similarly, Julianne Hough (Rock of Ages) assumes the role of Ariel Moore, Ren’s interest for the daughter of Reverend Shaw Moore strict (Dennis Quaid, replacing John Lithgow), which is totally against Kenny and “-problems do” forms.

Footloose will be in theaters on October 14, 2011.
