The official trailer for The Hobbit has finally been released to the delight of all fans of Tolkien and it seems the perfect time to recap all the information generated about the fourth film in the successful franchiseThe Lord of the Rings. Peter Jackson directs this prequel that focuses on the character of Bilbo Baggins.
The plot takes us to the year 2941 of the Third Age of the Sun in the company of the wizard Gandalf and thirteen dwarves, Bilbo on a journey through the land of the elves and trolls forests, through the dungeons of the Orcs and the Lonely Mountain where Smaug the dragon hides the treasure of the Dwarves. Finally, in the depths of the earth, finds the One Ring, which will result in many battles.
Martin Freeman (The Office, the girl of my dreams) Bilbo plays and this feature back Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel Elven Queen, Andy Serkins as Gollum and Orlando Bloom as Legolas. But there will be new faces as the 3 dwarf Dori, Nori and Ori played by Mark Hadlow, Jed Brophy and Adam Brown. Or the brave Oin (John Callen) and Gloin, The father of Gilmi, the dwarf character ofThe Lord of the Rings, which gives life Peter Hambleton. Jackson has been presented to the new additions to the franchise in mid-July and met Fili (Dean O’Gorman) and Kili (Aidan Turner), two of the younger dwarves in Thorin orders Oakenshield start towards the Lonely Mountain.
The Hobbit will be split into two films, the first release in December next year and the second in December 2013. Both are rolling at a time and, from the start Peter Jackson wanted to tell fans everything that happened on set through small clips that the director was hanging on his blog.
